After announcing the album Kyoto last month & sharing its controversial artwork in the process, which caught some backlash for its “furry porn” imagery, Tyga decides to come through today and release his anticipated new album after weeks of promotion.
Containing 14 tracks in total, the follow up to Bugatti Raw features guest appearances from Gucci Mane, Tory Lanez, and 24Hrs. Meanwhile production comes from LTTB, Cashmoney AP, Hitmaka, Jess Jackson, and more.
Named after a city in Japan two hours from Tokyo, Kyoto finds the former Cash Money rapper stepping out his comfort zone & doing more of crooning, melody-based records. “Its different man. I wouldn't say singing. It’s melodies,” he said on Everyday Struggle the other day. “I wasn't comfortable making these kind of records a year ago.” “This is more of a project for people to discover.”
Led by the previously heard singles “Temperature” & “Boss Up,” fans can now stream the project in its entirety via Apple Music. Hit play and let us know what you think.
