In January, rapper Tay-K earned his first Platinum plaque from behind bars while awaiting trial for a capital murder charge. The Texas-bred Tay-K's viral hit "The Race" is the piece attached to the feat, and has played a role in the 17-year old's rise in notoriety, for better or for wrose.
On the heels of such success, with the line "Free Tay-K" peppered throughout discographies and countless remixes of his breakout smash from the likes of Kodak Black, Meek Mill, and Lil Yachty floating around , Tay-K has now put a new cut by the name of "After You." While we've been treated to previous snippets a few leaks on the interweb, the uploading of the track to Tay-K's SoundCloud signals its official release.
Currently, he's incarcerated for a murder charge in connection to the fatal shooting of 23-year old Mark Anthony Saldivar in 2017. Previously, the rapper was on the lam after evading house arrest for his part in a 2016 robbery and another murder of 21-year old Ethan Walker, sparking inspiration for "The Race."
