A big collaboration off Brian's debut album.

After the wise decision to change his name from Rich Chigga to Rich Brian, the Indonesian rapper who broke through with his trap parody track "Dat $tick" has released his debut album Amen. "Attention," a highlight from the new project, features a guest verse from Migos rapper Offset and is co-produced by Brian, Cubeatz and OZ. Unlike brighter singles such as "Glow Like Dat," the track feels like an attempt at a more genuine take on "Dat $tick." Brian's voice drags in his lower register, maneuvering over a bleak, minimal instrumental. Offset brings a little more animation, switching up his flow constantly throughout his 16, delivering some catchy staccato bars as he finds every pocket of the instrumental.

Though his early experimentations with rap were more tongue-in-cheek, Brian has stated that his debut album finds him getting more serious about the art. In December 2016, we spoke briefly with Rich about how his perspective on rap. "[It's] just what I've seen from the skewed lens of the Internet," he said. "I was 12 when I was introduced to it and I just thought it was this cool thing, it's explicit, edgy, it's a fresh air from all of the soft mainstream pop stuff I was being played over here."

Amen is available to stream across all major platforms.

Quotable Lyrics:
Diamonds on my wrist
Got her attention
When I pulled up in that drop top
Fonzworth Bentley
I heard your main bitch
She got me in her mentions
I am a Martian
I am not from this dimension
