Lil Peep's music was performed live this past Saturday at his memorial service in Long Beach, New York. The brotherly duo Joel and Benjii Madden performed Peep's "Awful Things" with their band, Good Charlotte.
Their rendition of the track was delivered in a proper manner and was seemingly respected by all fans, giving GC props for their spot-on rendition.

“He lived his own life on his own terms. He was a stubborn, driven, talented, crafty, observant, and tender young man. Gus was also vulnerable,” Lil Peep’s mother, Liza Womack said at the service. Peep's grandmother added: "He wasn’t the modern-day Kurt Cobain, by the way. He is the first and only Lil Peep."
As many now know, Peep was found unconscious on his tour bus before he was set to hit the stage and perform. His death is now the subject of a criminal investigation by Tuscon, Arizona police.
