I don't have to tell you that Cardi B is one of rap's biggest stars of the moment and that "Bodak Yellow" is widely considered to be one of the songs of the year, since those are two pieces of information that you likely already know. However, what you may not know if that her hit single is so popular that it is now starting impromptu flash mob-style dance parties in the NYC subway.
In a video that has been making the rounds on social media, we can clearly see the power of Bardi's music, as both men and women of all ages and differing backgrounds took a moment out of their commute routine to vibe along to the "Bodak" beat. The caption alongside the video in the original tweet reads: "Play 'Bodak Yellow' anywhere and a party will start, guaranteed." Based on the reaction that you see from all those caught on camera getting turnt in the subway, that's not a false statement.
Those wanting new material from Cardi B - music, video or otherwise - will have to wait at least a few more days before they see either. Originally slated to drop on December 1st, the music for her Nicki Minaj and Migos collab "MotorSport" has been delayed, a fact that she apologized for on Twitter. A new Cardi single is supposedly dropping on December 15th.
What song besides "Bodak" would make you start the party in a public place like that? Have your say in the comments.
