Last summer, Memphis rapper Key Glock dropped off his Glock Season mixtape, which featured bangers from Sosa 808, Kingwonka, Izze The Producer & more. Now, Glock has come through with a follow-up project, the trap-heavy "Glock Bond." The new mixtape features a lengthy sixteen tracks, and if you're into iced out braggadocio and Southern gangsta rap, you'll find plenty to love about this one. On early standout "Cocky," Glock kicks some laid back bars, spitting lines like "I just bought two choppas, two K's Kendall Kylie, if you play me then I'm poppin' diamonds sparkling I'm so cocky."
Overall, the production is solid across the board, though it could use a little more variety at times. Still, Glock is consistently solid, and his rugged bars and dexterous flow are enough to carry the majority of these tracks.
