Skyzoo has plenty to celebrate on his new album.

Brooklyn lyricist Skyzoo has come through with another dose of raw raps, hitting listeners with fifteen tracks on In Celebration Of Us. The project, which marks Sky's seventh studio album, features guest appearances from Raheem Devaughn, WordsNCurves, Saba Abraha,  and Jake & Papa. Production comes from !llmind, Raheem Devaughn, Apollo Brown and plenty more. In short, if you're a fan of Skyzoo's brand of rugged lyricism, In Celebration Of Us has that in spades.

The project marks the follow-up to Skyzoo's Peddler Themes, which dropped last summer. The rapper is in fine form here, effortlessly weaving between socially conscious commentaries and knock-em'-out punchlines. On introductory cut "Everybody's Fine," Skyzoo sets an authentic mise-en-scène, kicking things off with a classic New York skit. Once the beat drops, Skyzoo wastes little time in leaving his mark, rapping "fist in the air over mistakes, fist in the air over the Jakes being vision impaired."
