While on house arrest, Gunplay has been using his time productively and has been churning out new music. With a serious court case looming over his head he has kept busy and has an upcoming mixtape and is working on his solo LP. In an interview with HHS87 talks about what fans can expect from his Cops N' Robbers mixtape, his relationship with Def Jam, and gives an approximate release date for his album.
Talking about the mixtape, the MMG rapper says fans can expect a mix of things, "It's like a compliation of my newest features, remixes, and a couple unreleased records, and some unreleased freestyles." Mentioning a record he is excited about he mentions a collabo with a Miami femcee, "I got a new song with Trina."
Asked why he decided to ink with Def Jam, the often mercurial rapper says that he is a loyal dude, and that made his decision easy, "that's where we got our start from, I'm a loyal dude." Discussing more about his work with Def Jam he was asked when fans can expect the LP and the Florida rapper says it will be dropping sometime this spring.
