Sha Hustle represents the 6 on "Spend Some."

Toronto's Sha Hustle is back with a new song called "Spend Some," as premiered on OVO SOUND RADIO. The Cian P. produced track is set to appear on his upcoming EP 0018, which is being teased with everybody's favorite two words: "coming soon." Insofar as the vibe, "Spend Some" is at once low-key and energetic, driven by a restrained (and somewhat melancholic) synth loop. Yet Cian P raises the energy with a forceful bassline, which helps ground this one with some welcome groove.

"I'm from the six that's why we have different views," croons Sha, "but who can relate when it comes to me and you?" Even when Drake isn't directly featured, his influence on Toronto hip-hop remains palpable. If you're a fan of Vybz Kartel, you should definitely check out "Spend Some," and while it might be a little morose for regular club rotation, it remains an original and refreshing banger.

Quotable Lyrics

I'm from the six that's why we have different views
But who can relate when it comes to me and you?
