It was actually back in November that this single was first announced, an exciting collaboration not only for the pairing of artists involved, but for the simple fact that we don't receive very much in the way of new music from Mac Miller these days (where he at??). Actually looking back at our news article of the announcement, the top comment says as much too: "This is the first year since like 2010 Mac hasn’t dropped some kind of project, it’s really good to know at least a track is coming," shout out user ARMAGEDDON of Room Service.
Unfortunately, if you were expecting a jam-packed-Mac-Miller song, you may be disappointed, as this one just contains one verse from Mac (he still goes in) and is a succinct two-minute offering. That's not to say those two minutes don't bang hard af. The production is really different and dope, grounded with an accordion-sounding string arrangement, while Madeintyo handles the hook.
