Smooky MarGielaa may be fifteen years old, but the young rapper has already earned a spot in one of hip-hop's most dominant cliques. As A$AP Rocky's new protégé, Smooky earned himself four features on A$AP Mob's Cozy Tapes Vol 2: Too Cozy, appearing alongside artists like Rocky, Playboi Carti, ScHoolboy Q, and Lil Yachty. That's quite the repertoire for an artist who can't even legally drink. And while he has yet to drop off a solo project, it seems like Smooky is gearing up for a busy 2018 campaign, starting with the release of new single "Vlone Flex."
Right off the bat, Smooky is intent on repping the brand, centering the song's hook around Bari's fashion line. Over a smooth trap instrumental from MVABeats, Smooky half-sings, half-raps a braggadocious summary of his lavish lifestyle. "Vlone on my body I pull up and then I Flex," raps Smooky.
