Brockhampton's "BLEACH" Is Dreamy R&B Bliss

A highlight from their newly released "SATURATION 3" project.

Brockhampton's Saturation 3 is the group's third project of 2017, and it continues to develop their unique collaborative world. "BLEACH" is one of 15 all-caps titles on the project, and showcases the strong R&B sensibilities of the group with a show-stopping hook from Ryan Beatty. In between, personality-filled verses from Matt Champion and Merlyn Wood float above a woozy synth line. Like many tracks from the group, the song climaxes with a beat switch which sends it further into textural R&B, while also filling the beat out with squealing G-funk-esque synths as vocals cascade over one another.

While originally announced as their "final" project, the collective has announced plans for a debut album in 2018. They're heading out on tour in January (find the schedule below).

Quotable Lyrics:
Why I can't speak out?
Is wide out, wide out
Keep it deep inside my mind
It's off kilter, off kilter
I told memory to vanish see
For that better pleasure, fuck
Time machine gon' make it better
Maybe better for ya
I can't make this up, I can't take it back
Feel like a monster
Feel like a Deadhead zombie
Feelings you don't want me
I ain't giving up
You should set if off, tell me "time's up"
Let the water run, let my body run
