The projections for Miguel's fourth studio album War & Leisure are in. According to a report from Hits Daily Double, the album is expected to move 30,000 to 35,000 equivalent album units in its first week, with 11,000 to 14,000 of that figure made up of pure sales. 2015's WILDHEART earned 48,000 album equivalent units first week debuting at No. 2, while 2012's Kaleidoscope Dream debuted at No. 3 with 71,000 in pure sales.
Miguel will likely be kept out of the top 3 of the Billboard 200, as U2's Songs Of Experience and Taylor Swift's Reputation are expected to battle for No. 1, while Chris Stapleton is looking to debut just below them. Of course, we won't know the real figures until Billboard reports them next week.
