Nef the Pharaoh has been on quite the roll to begin 2018. Fresh off a retro-style track titled "Kenan and Kel" to close out December, he came back strong with a single for Adult Swim's free music program, "Bussin'." As it turns out, we haven't seen nothing yet, as Nef returned today with even more new music, a great new joint called "Big Boss Chang."
In this instance, the title really tells you all you need to know. Nef, never the one to gloss over the obvious, spends the song detailing the pleasures and pitfalls of being the one wearing the "big boss" mantle in the room. Be it unwanted female attention or violence in the streets, Nef is here to spit some solid bars over some suitably beefy production. It's another impressive outing for a rapper who continues to impress.
