Back in February, Rich Homie Quan announced that he inked a deal with Motown Records and would be dropping off a new album in the Spring, but as you know that didn't happen unfortunately. So while we've been left in the dark for the most part of 2017, with exception to couple loose songs, Quan decided to return to the scene today and officially kick off the campaign for his forthcoming album Rich As In Spirit. At midnight, Quan released the first single called “Changed.”
Going in over production from Cassius Jay, Quan delivers a melodic street cut that finds him rapping about his hustling ways & long bread, something he says he’s been getting since the sixth grade. It follows up his latest release “Bossman,” which dropped back on Halloween.
Take a listen to the new single and sound off in the comments. You feeling this or nah?
Quotable Lyrics:
Don't let that money fool ya, boy
Ain't shit changed
We in Miami on vacay
Forty-thousand for the big face
And they want another fifty-thousand just to bust it down
I've been doing this shit since sixth grade
Teachers told me I would never make
No money off these words
Now I'm not worried 'bout nobody
Told that same teacher
Look at me, and I didn't go to college
