Today, Reebok Classic has officially announced the release of a limited edition Freestyle Hi, created in partnership with Amber Rose. The "Muva Fuka" Reebok Freestyle Hi dropped earlier this week at select retailers (for $250 a pop) but the kicks are now available at Reebok retailers across the globe.
Per Reebok,
A trailblazer in fashion and attitude, Amber Rose is known for her focus on women’s empowerment. She uses her platform everyday to bring attention to the fight for gender and other social injustice issues, a message not lost in the design of her sneaker with Reebok.
The design is a bold, Amber Rose-inspired take on the iconic Freestyle Hi silhouette. Merlot in color, the sneaker features a rippled Vibram gum outsole, blending an elevated aesthetic with an 80s fitness classic. Distinguished in style from previous Freestyle Hi collaborations, the shoe upper features merlot-colored pony hair, creating the ultimate fashion moment.
The luxe upper is complemented by tonal waxed laces, rose gold lace tips and rose gold lace locks with “MUVA” adorning the right foot and “FUKA” on the left. With no creative detail spared, the shoe also features the women’s gender symbol on the sockliner, a representation of Rose’s work for women’s empowerment.
The Freestyle Hi Vibram AR launches today and is available at Reebok.com, Shoe Palace, Jimmy Jazz, Villa, DTLR, Shoe City and additional global retailers for $250.
