Singer and rapper T-Rell first broke out with his "My Dawg" cut, a track penned in honor of a friend who passed away in a car accident. Catching the ear of Lil Boosie at the time, the veteran emcee decided to hop on the track for a remix, thus sparking Rell's steady rise.
“I was really into poetry and I loved listening to Tupac because his music is poetry," the singer once noted of his origins. "I started taking my time to study and learn how to rap. Some of my rap influences were rappers I listened to coming up such as Ludacris, Lil Boosie, and 50 Cent."
Now, T-Rell offers up a new outing accompanied by yet another Southern voice in the form of his "Issues" cut, featuring Memphis' Moneybagg Yo. On this cut, T-Rell is still keeping the topic close to home as he goes on about his come up.
Quotable Lyrics:
Fuck these niggas, they don't want to see me here
They'd rather see me dead, not providing for my family
These niggas make diss songs all because I'm rich now
Do it for attention, pussy nigga sit down
