Compton's AD has been releasing new music every week now, and today he came through with perhaps the strongest cut yet, the KT Kravitz produced "PreHeat." With his new album Blue 89 C2 about to drop on December 15th, AD is intent on making sure you're paying attention with this one. From the second the bouncy, futuristic beat kicks off, AD is already spazzing from the first bar. His flow is particularly potent, and he slides over the beat with expert energy, referencing Lonzo Ball and alluding to speculation that he once dissed JayNari. "Real n***a shit I admit I'm sorry, cause everybody thinkin' that I dissed JayNari," raps AD, as he continues to rip through the track with a blistering pace.
If you've been sleeping on the Crip Lives Matter emcee, perhaps this one will wake you up. In the meantime, stay tuned for Blue 89 C2, which may very well be one of the last albums to drop in 2017.
Quotable Lyrics
Real n***a shit I admit I'm sorry
Cause everybody thinkin' that I dissed JayNari
38 now whippin' down the roll-around
Whip free fat stacks told him I clocked 40
