Check out Verse Simmonds' new video for "Liquor & Misunderstanding."

Revisiting last month’s Diamonds project, which featured a lone appearance from Ty Dolla Sign, West Coast singer Verse Simmonds decides to come through today and share a new video in its support for the self-produced track “Liquor & Misunderstanding.”

Bringing the lyrics to life, Verse posts up in a hotel room & balcony and reflects on a fight that he and his girl into the night before due to too much “liquor & misunderstanding.” It’s a very relatable concept that many of us have dealt with after a night of going too hard, and Verse tells the story perfectly here. For some reason, Verse is quietly slept on as an R&B artist, but this is just more proof that that shouldn't be the case.

Directed by Grizz Lee, check out the official video (above) and sound off in the comments. Don’t sleep on the rest of his Diamonds project either, which you can stream right here.
