Today, Ghostface and Apollo Brown have come through with an official re-release of their musical horror film The Brown Tape. For a bit of history, The Brown Tape originally came about back in 2013, when Ghost teamed up with Adrian Younge for his conceptual 12 Reasons To Die album. After it dropped, Apollo Brown came through with his own twisted take, delivering eerie, sample-based production to compliment Ghost's sinister lyrics. Even the cover art is terrifying. Shortly after the original was released, The Brown Tape hit streaming services, only to be subsequently removed.
Today, Mello Music Group has officially re-released the haunting album, which should be good news for anyone who missed it the first time around. Even if you heard this a few years back, give it a re-listen, especially if you're craving a dark take on that vintage Ghostface sound. Steam The Brown Tape now, on all official streaming platforms.
