Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were in attendance at Chris Rock's Total Blackout tour date in Hollywood Friday. Naturally, the couple made their way backstage after the show, taking some photos that were later posted on Kim's Snapchat story. The West's posed alongside Chris and his girlfriend Megalyn Echikunwoke, while Kanye also took a photo with Rock and fellow comedy legend Eddie Murphy, who happened to be kicking around backstage as well.
Rock famously appeared on the skit at the end of Kanye West's "Blame Game" from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, better known as "Yeezy Taught Me."
Kanye is not the first rapper to hang backstage with Chris on the tour. Earlier this week, both Nas and Diddy joined the comedian backstage. Nas posted a picture of the three icons together on Instagram. "Great to see the genius of Chris Rock tonight, he’s definitely one our Top Greats, catch him on his tour ASAP. Ran into my brov Puff backstage," he wrote.
Chris Rock has always been an outspoken fan of rap. In May, he guested on the Hot 97 morning show to discuss Kendrick Lamar's album DAMN., which he had high praise for. "I feel this album is really good. It's kind of like [Outkast's] Aquemini or something," he said. "It gets better with each listen, and there's different layers to it. You listen to "Pride?" Wooooh. You gotta read. When you gotta punch up the lyrics and read so you don't miss nothin? Nah, he's on a whole 'nother [level]."
