Drake is one of hip-hop's most notorious ladies' men, with a well-known history for dating some of the hottest signers, actresses and models in the world. Now, as per a new report from Page Six, the "One Dance" rapper has supposedly set his sights on a new love interest: young actress Bria Vinaite.
The superstar reportedly took Vinaite out for an intimate dinner at restaurant Sotto Sotto, whic is located in his hometown of Toronto. They rolled up to the establishment late on Monday night and stayed until early Tuesday morning. The pair was spotted allegedly looking pretty cozy in the restaurant, citing an eyewitness who also said, "It definitely looked like a date, and they left the restaurant at 2:30 a.m. hand in hand."
Why is Drake so smitten with an actress that very few people know about at the moment? It has a lot to do with his obsession with her Sean Baker-directed movie The Florida Project, leading to him even posting a picture of the actress on his Instagram account, calling the film "the best movie you will see this year." The movie's plot revolves about the lives of certain residents of the run-down motels that reside on the outskirts of Orlando. Vinaite plays a struggling mother of a young daughter, who is essayed by Brooklynn Prince. Willem Dafoe also appears in the film.
Amazingly, Baker found the 24-year-old Lithuanian-born Vinaite on Instagram, where she was in the process of selling a weed-themed clothing line. He asked her to try out for the role via direct message, which she locked up despite having no prior movie acting experience whatsoever.
Speaking of Drake, he lent his name to the star-studded Hand In Hand telethon that took place across multiple networks last night, raising money for Hurricane Harvey and Irma relief. "With so much happening in the world, it's truly amazing to see our generation be conscious and aware," he said in a pre-taped speech. "These days it seems as if one issue is ending, another is beginning, and I know it can be extremely overwhelming, but your attention and your assistance is of extreme importance [...] Give whatever you can to help people just like you rebuild their families and their homes and get back to life as they once knew it."
