New York's own Don Mykel recently came through our offices for the eleventh installment of the HNHH Freestyle Sessions, and the end result was one of the strongest offerings yet. Over a menacing beat from our in house producer Loa Gaze, Mykel takes to the drums with some street narratives, showcasing a solid flow as he delivers some hard hitting lines. "Wild raps like I'm Adolph, young soldier goin' AWOL for the times my moms was laid off, who on my radar?"
He continues spitting fire, mixing some serious multi-syllables with vivid imagery: "this is New York, when you talk them dudes spark, your crew soft, see me, I was born in the midst of a quiet storm, nobody speakin' feel the heat creeping through over doors." If you haven't checked for Don Mykel, this is a great place to start, and be sure to check back next Tuesday for another session.
Quotable Lyrics
this is New York, when you talk them dudes spark, your crew soft
See me, I was born in the midst of a quiet storm
Nobody speakin' feel the heat creeping through over doors
