Using his latest vlog, Big Sean announces that he is pushing back the release of "Hall Of Fame" until 2013.

Big Sean is the next member of G.O.O.D. Music poised to drop a solo album, which will be his sophomore LP, Hall Of Fame.  After battling some leaks of unmastered tracks, and wanting the final product of his album to be up to his standards, the Detroit player has decided to push the release back from mid December to early 2013.

In a vlog entitled “Fear”, Sean talks about combating fear head-on, and it making a person strong, and at the end there is a segment of him mentioning how he does not want to be rushed into releasing Hall Of Fame: Memoirs Of A Detroit Player.  Although he feels some don’t value his opinion, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper is going to listen to his gut and continue to work on the project, “Everything’s gotta be how I want it to be, I want to make my album, the best it can be...every time I listen to myself it’s always the right way, always the right move.”

Feeling pushing back the release a few weeks should not make a huge difference to fans, but will for himself, Sean says, “I thought that like, man if my album it came out top of the year as opposed to end of the year, it’s not no big time difference, but it’s gonna make a difference to me, a difference to the people who be riding for me, and be defending me.”  Adding honestly, “I’m playin myself if I come out too early...gonna take my time with it.”

He reveals that he was disappointed with his first solo album, but happy with the outcome of his Detroit mixtape, so he is going to use recording and promoting that tape as the guidelines for his new album, but on a larger scale. “My first album was not all the way where I wanted it to be...the first thing I put out and felt comfortable with was Detroit,” Big Sean adds, “we about to do what we did to Detroit, ten times better.”

No new release date has been announced, but you can check out the video below.
