It looks like Lavar Ball won’t be outdone by his sons Lonzo & LaMelo with their own signature shoes. During a recent Q&A with fans the other day in support of their Facebook reality show, Lavar revealed that he has his own shoe on the way but it’ll cost you a pretty penny at $1500 or more…
“How about I give you the name of the shoe? I just don’t know when I’m coming out with it yet. ‘The LaVar-iccis!’ Holler at your boy! But I will give you a tip: make sure you save your money because they’re gonna be $1,500 USD or more. Cause I’m gonna design them and they’re gonna be fly. My bad — they’re gonna be baller-ized.”
By the tone and mannerism of Lavar’s voice when talking about his own shoe, its unclear if he’s really serious about this, but then again nothing him or his family does comes as much of a surprise anymore so Im thinking he is serious.
However, his shoe comment isn’t what the stole the Q&A show though. As we reported the other day, Lavar also called out Michael Jordan for not making “any killers” like he did with his kids. When asked about him being better than MJ, Lavar replied…
“Here’s the reason why I’m so much better than Jordan. Jordan had some sons too. But his sons didn’t turn out like my sons. That shows how much athleticism I had oozing out of me. I made three killers. He couldn’t even make two.” Lavar said in the clip.
