A good chunk of America was seemingly at ease for a whole 11-minutes last night after a former Twitter employee deleted Donald Trump's account, making all of his current 36.3K statements unavailable.
The verified Twitter Government account tweeted the news saying that a "customer support employee" pulled the plug on the President's account on his or her last day on the job. Donald's profile was shut down at 6:45 p.m. ET Thursday and was restored shortly after. The statement reads that a full internal review is being conducted.
Of course, Donald Trump noticed that one of his favourite social media platforms was temporarily unavailable, with a tweet suggesting he's finally made some sort of "impact."
Even though Donald is back on the Twitter grid, lots of users praised the former employee for doing the deed, calling the individual a "hero."
