In celebration of today's release of the much anticipated video game "Call Of Duty: World War II," Adidas has teamed up with Activision for a special edition "Squadron" cleat pack designed for Adidas NFL athletes, including Dak Prescott, Von Miller, DeAndre Hopkins, Jay Ajayi, Jimmy Graham, Josh Norman and Landon Collin. The players will be lacing up the cleats next weekend to celebrate Veterans Day.
The custom Squadron Pack kits include an advanced copy of Call of Duty: World War II, as well as a custom Adidas x Call of Duty branded Playstation 4. Additionally, Call Of Duty: World War II pack includes a pair of the Adidas Alphabounce, an exclusive t-shirt, a custom Military Appreciation Adidas NHL hockey jersey, a personalized bomber jacket with embroidered patches and Private Label duffel bag.
Starting with blank silver adidas cleats as canvases, each cleat design was personalized with graphics and decorative elements to match each player’s personality. Other design details include symbols on the medial side of the cleats that depict the big plays, statistics, awards and accolades of each player, similar to the way college football teams place stickers on helmets for achievements.
Veterans Day is next Saturday, November 11th and the NFL has already release a plethora of camo-printed gear including hoodies, knit hats and sweatshirts as part of their "Salute To Service" initiative.
Some players and coaches have already debuted the "Salute To Service" apparel on the sidelines, but these special edition cleats will likely be saved until next weekend's Veterans Day games.
