Reginae Carter, the college-bound daughter of rapper Lil Wayne, reportedly plans on making her own way, without riding on her famous dad's legacy.
The 18-year-old, who now appears on Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta, says that having a celebrity parent is not all rainbows and sunshine. "I had a friend, and I trusted her and everything, but she turned around and backstabbed me," she said in a recent interview. "She never showed me a side of her to being fake or that she was just here for the benefits [...] so at this point in my life, I really have to see who is there for me, and it is really hard."
The good news: Lil Wayne sure showed up in a big way to her high school graduation. Check out the highlights below.
