J.I.D.'s newest project is actually an older one, a 2013 mixtape called Para Tu. After being unearthed on r/hiphopheads, the tape eventually found its way back to J.I.D., who was pleased to see that fans were loving it. "i took this down because I be sensitive with my art sometimes, but being appreciated is the feels," tweeted the rapper, who has been making waves since The Never Story dropped earlier this year. "Ima keep working on the new doe."
Clearly, J.I.D. appreciates his fans, and we appreciate him right back. After all, this type of move is a rare one, especially for an artist signed to a major label. Be sure to check this one out and support, especially if you like lyrical hip-hop. J.I.D. sounds particularly hungry throughout, delivering bars with the fury of an up-and-comer. If you're a fan, you'll no doubt find Para Tu a welcome addition to the young rapper's growing discography.
