Though his music has slowed down this year, 50 Cent is one of the busiest men in Hollywood right now. Already involved in multiple TV and movie ventures, Fif just announced that he will host an upcoming late-night show on BET called 50 Central.
"It's a different type of comedy. It's a little more edgier than the things you've seen in the past," 50 says of 50 Central in the below promo video.
The structure of the show isn't totally clear yet, though going off Fif's explanation, it will feature sketches involving viral comedians who haven't yet been introduced to a platform outside of the internet. "We're gonna break new people, new energy, new hit music, all of it," says Fif.
The G-Unit emcee's partnership with BET comes shortly after he reportedly signed on to produce two new crime drama series, The Oath and RPN, for Sony's new Crackle streaming platform. And that's on top of both executive producing and starring in the acclaimed Starz series Power, which will air its fourth season on June 25.
Fif is officially back in his bag.
