Nike is celebrating Kevin Durant's first NBA title with a special edition pair of the Nike KD10, which include graphic insoles calling out all of the haters that have dissed him in the past, featuring words like "snake," "soft," and "weak." Not only do the kicks call out the KD-naysayers, but they also feature Durant's NBA Finals stat lines, as well as the Warriors 16-1 post season record.
The "Celebration" Nike KD 10 released online today at select Nike Basketball retailers like Shoe Palace, but quickly sold out. Other major retailers, such as Foot Locker, will also be releasing the celebratory KD10s, although the release will be limited to only a handful of stores nationwide. To see if any Foot Locker locations in your area will be releasing the kicks, check out the Launch Locator here.
Nike will also be launching the special edition KD10s via Nike.com, but they've yet to post purchase links.
In addition to capturing his first NBA championship with the Golden State Warriors last season, Durant was also named NBA Finals MVP, which is certainly grounds for a special edition sneakers.
Take a closer look at some detailed shots of the "Celebration" Nike KD10 below, and keep your eyes peeled for another drop in the near future.
