We haven't heard about Scoop DeVille in a long minute, so it's nice to see the beatsmith's name pop up, by way of a Christmas-themed song. The producer is probably best known for lacing Kendrick Lamar and Dr. Dre with "The Recipe" beat, still a smooth offering to return to, and he delivers that same nimble, smoothness to his latest production work.
"Christmas" is an old school vibing record, with a Christmas sample looped around some far-away drums for over three minutes of feel-goodness. "Just a lil something for the holidays," Scoop says of the release. We're not sure if any rapper will be brave enough to rap over this -- what do you think?
