In a wave of artists making their own mark, a rush of those leaning on the experiemental side of things continue to defy the odds by carving out their own lane. The latest name to try their hand at doing so arrives in the form of Tino Bandz, whose life in Central Florida encompasses various paths that cross. When it comes to rap though, it's the most recent of his endeavors, stemming out of need for a new direction.
His most recent effort arrives in the form of his "Gucci Glocks/Skate," a two-part brief cut, produced by Chumangbeats, in which all of his worlds collide as he riffs on his transition between skate parks and the trap life. At the end of the Waxbando-directed video, Tino challenges fellow rappers of the same cloth to a skate-off declaring that he's the both the greatest rapper and skater. He calls out Tyler, The Creator, Rich The Kid, and Reese La Flare in particular.
Previously, Reese La Flare entertained the challenge via social media, but nothing has come of the propsed duel. Until then, get acquainted with Tino Bandz via "Gucci Glocks" and "Skate."
