Over the past few months, Nessly's name's been more prominent than it was ever before. The Atlanta rapper's been catching the attention of some of the industry's most influential figures and he continues to push himself and his music forward. Today, he reunites with Toronto's SAFE on the Murda Beatz produced "Dove Cry, Love Dies."
North meets South on Nessly's latest track. It's a heavy banger with a darker tone to it. Murda Beatz produced the joint with co-production credits going to Charlie Handsome. Murda Beatz brings the dark, banger through while Nessly and SAFE come through with smooth melodies. It has the grittiness of Atlanta's trap music while blending it with the smooth rap-sing flows coming out of Toronto's scene. It's another solid effort from both SAFE and Nessly, who've previously worked together on the Zaytoven produced "Don't Worry." They continue to prove their strengths as two up and coming artists in their respective cities.
Quotable Lyrics
How you say you fell if you don't try
Some day every legend got to die
Sittin' in the trap making doves cry
What you gon' do when our love die
