Ted Cruz is a famously conservative senator who once supported a ban on sex toys may have been caught with his pants down, literally.
TMZ reported the information that Cruz's Twitter account has "liked" a two-minute hardcore porn video late on Monday night. The video in question came from the account titled Sexuall Posts, which had shared a quick clip that featured a woman pleasuring herself while secretly watching another couple getting it on. It may have been a (short-lived) good time for Cruz, but this morning the blunder turned into a nightmare for his PR team. Despite this evidence, Cruz's reps are claiming that the politician's Twitter account was hacked. His Senior Communications Adviser, Catherine Frazier, tweeted out a statement that read" "The offensive tweet posted on @Tedcruz account earlier has been removed by staff and reported to Twitter."
The video was un-liked by the Cruz Twitter account about an hour later, a move that has called into question whether or not a hacker was really involved with the heinous act that was committed. In any event, the senator was trending on social media Tuesday morning, prompting some hilarious takes from users all over the world. Anyone who says human beings can't unite under a common belief haven't read these Ted Cruz jokes.

This was by no means Cruz's first rodeo when it comes to porn viewing. In his 2015 autobiography A Time for Truth, he describes watching pornography with Supreme Court justices to research a case.
