Timbaland has often taken to Instagra, to share his reactions to new songs and artists within the rap world as a part of his Timbaland Re-Ax series. For a recent addition he took a look at 4batzz and his new viral song "Date @ 8." The track has blown up in recent weeks mostly due to a live performance of it shared on YouTube. That video has racked up well over a million views in less than a month and 4batz's high-pitched singing has rap fans talking.
Timbaland is talking about it as well and he has high praise for what the Dallas singer and rapper is working on. He tells the city "y'all got one" while watching the performance. Later on in the clip he even specifically recommends somebody he thinks would be good on the song. The person he suggests is Drake, which makes sense as the "In My Feelings" rapper is no stranger about, well, getting in his feelings. Check out the legedary producer's full reaction to the song below.

Timbaland Calls For A Drake Remix
In the comments of the post some fans disagree with Timbaland's take on the track. For many of them their issues with the track only really extend to the vocals. "Dude sounds like a teenage female. Nope!!" one comment on the post reads. "Can you replace the battery in your fire alarm" and "This is just a Brent Faiyaz clone lol nah this isn’t real" two other comments joke.
The last time Timbaland made news it was for the wrong reasons. The producer weighed in on drama surrounding Justin Timberlake following the release of Britney Spears' recent memoir. His phrasing in particular bothered many people when he said that JT needed to "muzzle" Britney. It didn't sit right with fans especially after Spears shared the harrowing story of the abortion she was forced to get in private following her unplanned pregnancy. What do you think of 4batz new song and Timbaland's suggestion that Drake should hop on it for a remix? Let us know in the comment section below.
