For months, Halle Bailey and her man DDG have been subject to relentless pregnancy rumors. Speculation was only compounded when the Little Mermaid attended various events wearing outfits that conveniently obscured her belly. When the holidays arrived, fans of the couple started to suspect that Bailey had given birth, which she later confirmed in a heartfelt Instagram post.
"Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son," she captioned a sweet photo of her and the infant, hand in hand. "Welcome to the world my halo the world is desperate to know you." DDG went on to share a celebratory post of his own, calling Halo his "biggest blessing by far."
Rubi Rose Has "No Ill Feelings" About Baby Halo's Arrival
Of course, both artists have been met with an outpouring of love and support amid the exciting news. DDG's ex, Rubi Rose, even shared some encouraging words during a recent podcast appearance. “I love children and he’s been wanting a child so I think that’s lovely for them," she told Impaulsive hosts Logan Paul and Mike Majlak. When asked whether or not Halo's arrival has brought about any negative emotions for her, she made it clear that she's nothing but happy for the duo. “No ill feelings… absolutely not," she stated. "It’s a baby.”
It's clear that the new parents are overcome with happiness, even recently creating an Instagram account for the newest member of their family. While it's a fairly controversial move, Bailey and DDG were sure to censor the infant's face in his latest post, an adorable fit check.
