Comedians aren't often among those of us who tread through life lightly, but after Katt Williams' explosive interview with Shannon Sharpe earlier this month, the industry is moving much more carefully in regard to who and what they speak about in 2024. Tyler Perry, Steve Harvey, and Bernie Mac were among those who came up in conversation, but those names don't even begin to cover the full list of celebrities who felt Williams applying pressure. This week, the legendary comic sat down with Willie D for another bombshell interview, at which time Wanda Smith's name was thrown into the mix.
Previously, in 2018, the media personality invited Williams onto her Atlanta radio show. "I won't talk about kids, I won't talk about jail, I won't talk about... This is the conversation she had with me," the 52-year-old explained. He later recalled to Willie how the female entertainer claimed she only wanted to give him his flowers. "Then she goes in that room, doesn't mention the Emmy, and immediately begins to... 'Cuz this is a comedian, you're trying to undermine me. Atlanta is a heavily LGBTQ+ positive city. The fact that you have a heavy gay fanbase would try to degrade me, a heterosexual, by making it seem like I'm gay."

"It was a terrible thing that she found herself in," he further reflected. "Comedically, you're outmatched. My defence is impenetrable; my offence will have the precise amount of viciousness that's necessary." On the final slide of the post above, you can see exactly how Williams handled Smith's shady behaviour. "My hair is 19 inches long and I have no perm. Come run one of your GNARLED fingers through it," he roasted the radio personality.
Considering how much tea was spilled on Katt Williams' Club Shay Shay episode, we weren't sure how much the funny man had left in him. Thankfully for Willie D, his latest guest still managed to provide plenty of entertainment to guests who have tuned in so far.
