Lil Wayne reminded fans that his verse is "top tier."

It's no secret that Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Drake are one of the most iconic trios in hip-hop. Fortunately, it appears that Weezy, like fans, hasn't forgotten it. Recently, the hitmaker stepped out for a night on the town, and threw it back to 2021 with their collab, "Seeing Green." In a new clip, the hitmaker is seen rhyming along to his verse on the track, leaning into every bar.

The circulating clip has social media users reminiscing, and showing their love for the Young Money stars in the comments section. "One of the best Posse tracks we’ve heard in Hip Hop in a long time," one fan writes. Another says, "really Nicki and Wayne hardest verse!!" Someone else says, "This verse top tier."

Lil Wayne Remembers Every Line

All three of the performers have gone on to take part in countless other collaborations, with Lil Wayne's project with 2 Chainz Welcome 2 Collegrove dropping in November. He didn't forget his roots while promoting the album, however. He and 2 Chainz appeared on Complex's GOAT Talk series last month where they shared who their pick would be for the GOAT Young Money artist. They both, without hesitation, agreed that Nicki Minaj reigns supreme.

Clearly, Lil Wayne has a lot of respect for Nicki, and for himself too. Last month he even told Taylor Rooks for Bleacher Report that he thinks he's the LeBron James of hip hop. According to him, they have a lot of similarities, including the fact that they both got started as teens. "I would say that I'm like a LeBron," he explained. "I dropped my first solo album when I was 14, and that's the same album I'm talking about that went platinum. And I've been doing this at this pace of higher ever since, just like him."
