Ja Rule is a legend in the hip-hop world. Although it has been a very long time since he was in his prime, he still has fans out there. Overall, Ja came out with plenty of big hits back in the day. Furthermore, he has some iconic projects such as Venni Vetti Vecci. Unfortunately, a beef with 50 Cent ultimately stunted the progression of his career. He even became a punchline for many years. This is especially true when you consider how he was named in a now-iconic Dave Chappelle stand-up routine.
Additionally, Ja Rule was someone who had a hand in the infamous Fyre Festival fiasco. Although he has since moved past this, there are people who still think about it from time to time. Oh, and he also had that halftime performance at a Milwaukee Bucks game that didn't end so well. Either way, Ja is still very much active as it pertains to performing. His last project was in 2012, and now, he appears to be ready for something new. While taking to Twitter, Ja revealed that he has a new album on the way.

Ja Rule In Album Mode
"In full album mode," he wrote on social media. Of course, his fans were excited about this. After all, older artists are being encouraged to drop more music. When you take the 50th anniversary of hip-hop into consideration, it becomes clear that there is an appetite for music from legacy acts. Now, it just becomes a question of when will the album come out. No one wants this to be a musical equivalent of the Fyre Fest situation. That would just give 50 Cent more ammunition.
