Boosie Badazz is a man with many opinions, and he's certainly not shy about sharing them. If you follow the 41-year-old on social media, you may have heard his controversial thoughts on The Color Purple β an Oprah Winfrey-produced product featuring acting performances from Halle Bailey, H.E.R., and Ciara, just to name a few. Though Boosie was impressed by some of what he saw on-screen, the "Mind of a Maniac" hitmaker is once again putting his foot down about the "narrative" being pushed on the public by the LGBTQ+ community.
"I HAD TO WALK OUT THIS 'COLOR PURPLE' MOVIE (N TWO OTHER OLDER COUPLES WALKED OUT ALSO),' he wrote on Twitter earlier this week. "BECAUSE I HAD MY LITTLE GIRLS WITH ME [AND] IT SEEMED LIKE A π LOVE STORYβΌοΈ" Boosie added before confirming he wouldn't let his daughter watch the new movie as a result. As backlash to his post comes pouring in, the multi-talent is now ranting about his right to his opinion.

Boosie Badazz Isn't Here for Pushing "Narratives" on His Children
"WHY IF SOMEONE DOESN'T AGREE WITH THE π NARRATIVE THAT'S BEING PUSHED, WHY DO Y'ALL SAY THAT THE PERSON WHO DOESN'T AGREE IS π. THAT'S BULLYING~!! WE HAVE A RIGHT AS PARENTS TO SAY IT'S NOT COOL FOR A 7 N 9 YEAR OLD TO WATCH THIS," Boosie expressed on Tuesday (January 2). "WE HAVE RIGHTS AS PARENTS TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN AS MUCH AS WE CAN. I HAVE NO PROBLEM AT ALL WITH π PEOPLE. MY GRANDAD WAS A PREACHER (SOUTHERN BAPTIST) [AND] I'M JUST TRYNA RAISE MY KIDS WITH THE SAME BELIEFS [AND] RESPECT. IT'S JUST THIS WORLD WILL HAVE [YOU IN] A FIGHT TO DO SO!!"
Even with all the ranting he does on social media, Boosie Badazz still managed to find positivity and love in his heart this past holiday season. The Louisana native reconciled with his mom after feuding with her over a familial lawsuit in 2023 and spent tens of thousands of dollars on spoiling those closest to him for Christmas.
