Los Angeles rapper slash singer Eric Bellinger has come through for a new track called "GOAT 2.0," a sequel to "GOAT" off his 2016 project Eric B For President: Term 1. This time around, he invited his self-proclaimed "brother" Wale to lay down some vocals, and both rappers trade verses celebrating the respective ladies in their lives. Over a whimsical, chime-driven beat, Bellinger spits some romantic bars, rapping "she the one, she the plug, she the one they call the God," before letting his vocals soar in the chorus. Wale's next up, and the Shine rapper picks up where Bellinger left off, showering his significant other with heaps of praise.
For a little behind the scenes info, Bellinger told Billboard that he and Wale "got a special chemistry the world needs." Wale reciprocated the love by calling Bellinger "one of the hardest working people in our business...Any record he believes in, I want to be a part of." Be sure to check out "GOAT 2.0," and don't hesitate to tell that special person in your love that you love them.
Quotable Lyrics
Shawty bad, slim, thick, she my drug, she my fix
And I'm all up in her mix, She be mixin' with the wrist
She the plug, she finesse, She the one they call the GOAT
She don't stress/ She don't trip and she fuck with all my bros
