By now most of you are aware that OVO crooner Roy Woods dropped off his long awaited debut album yesterday called Say Less. The 16-song effort boasts contributions from DVSN, PartyNextDoor, PnB Rock & 24Hrs, while production comes from the likes of Nineteen85, Francisgotheat, Prezident Jeff, and more.
Looking to highlight one of the new records, other than the previously heard joints, here goes the highly anticipated collab with OVO crooner PartyNextDoor called “Back It Up.”
Going in over production from Prep Bijan, the Brampton singer and Mississauga hitmaker deliver a woozy & promiscuous bedroom banger that finds the OVO crooners asking their ladies to “back it up” for them, just as the title depicts. Take a listen and let us know what you think!
If you wish to see Roy Woods in person you might be in luck. The Toronto singer revealed in an IG post Friday that he's taking his talents on the road this winter for a supporting tour, although he hasn't reveled dates yet. Keep your eyes peeled for that to surface soon.
Say Less available now on iTunes.
Quotable Lyrics:
You want me 'cause I'm in the limelight
Act like you don't care about my time
Actions don't faze me, you be on your fake shit
You can't be my lady
