Astros shortstop Carlos Correa celebrated his World Series win by getting engaged to his girlfriend on the baseball field.

What a day for Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa. Just minutes after taking game 7 from the Los Angeles Dodgers and winning the 2017 World Series, the Astros shortstop decided to celebrate by getting down to knee and his asking his gorgeous girlfriend to marry him, which she of course said yes too!

"(Winning the World Series) is one of the biggest steps of my life. One of the biggest accomplishments of my life. And right now I'm about to take another big step in my life," said Correa before getting turning to his girlfriend Miss Texas USA Daniella Rodriguez and proposing. "Daniella Rodriguez, will you make me the happiest man in the world? Will you marry me?"

Rodriguez immediately gasped in excitement and said, "Oh my God!" repeatedly before eventually embracing Correa and answering, "yes."

It's unclear when the Houston Astros star and the former Miss Texas USA began dating, but their first public photo is from a Kanye West concert in Chicago on Oct. 7. Rodriguez threw out the first pitch at an Astros game on Aug. 31 of that year.

Fox interviewer Ken Rosenthal handled the proposal like a pro while interviewing Correa, but David Ortiz on the other hand was totally shocked by it all. See his hilarious reaction (below), along with the touching proposal.

In addition to the footage, we've also rounded up some of the reactions from Twitter as well, which you can look through yourself (below).
