Freddie Gibbs confirms what we speculated yesterday; he is no longer signed to Jeezy's CTE label.

Yesterday we reported on the rumors surrounding Freddie Gibbs, and whether or not he was still a part of Young Jeezy's CTE label.

Freddie Gibbs has now confirmed what we all suspected: he is no longer with CTE, although just signing to the label last year. Gibbs called into The Breakfast Club to confirm the news, saying he's focusing on his own label imprint, ESGN.

"It was a mutual decision," Freddie Gibbs said before explaining, "I mean it was a number of things, but at the end of the day it was a decision for myself and my family, it wasn't nothing against him, it was just a move I had to make, personally and business-wise."

Gibbs added, "We just move in different ways, so it's just best that he move in his way and I move in my way."
