Tech N9ne is allegedly suing Strainge Entertainment for trademark infringement.

Tech N9ne is an OG in the rap game for more than his rapping abilities. Along with his business partner, Travis O'Guin, they formed hip hop's independent empire with their label Strange Music. Since 1999, they've released albums from  some of the dope emcees in the game. They still have an incredible line up with rappers like MURS, Krizz Kaliko, MAYDAY and Wrekonize on their roster. They've had a pretty stacked list of signees under their belt. However, a new label under the name of Strainge Entertainment, is currently causing issues for Tech N9ne.

In a report from TMZ, Strange Music is reportedly suing Strainge Entertainment for trademark infringement. In the documents that TMZ obtained, it said Strange Music is being ripped off by Strainge Entertainment, a label that only launched in 2016 and under the umbrella of Universal Music Group.

In the lawsuit, it claims that fans are getting Strange Music and Strainge Entertainment artists mixed up on social media. They say that it's because of Strainge Entertainments name is misleading on social media. Strange Music is apparently seeking for Strainge Entertainment to change their name. Along with that, they want them to demolish everything with Strainge on it. They also want to receive the profits from anything that Strainge has made off of the name.

Aside from this, Tech N9ne has been working this year. Back in April, he dropped his eighteenth studio album and seventh in his "Collabos" series, Dominion. Along with that, he's also gearing up to drop another addition to the "Collabos" series with Strange Reign which is slated to drop on October 13th. Tech also received his first platinum plaque earlier this year for his 2006 song, "Caribou Lou."
