TBS recently debuted a brand new show called "Drop The Mic," a comic battle rap series hosted by Method Man that pits celebrities against each other. On the most recent episode of Drop The Mic, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski went up against "Jane The Virgin" star Gina Rodriguez, and she absolutely annihilated him.
During their back and forth, Gina Rodriguez verbally abused Gronk several times, including some bars about him looking like a caveman and having deflated balls.
“My flow’s so hot, the whole crowd’s loving it, I spit fire, you look like the caveman who discovered it/This is not a revelation, I’m sure you’ve heard it all, but check your manhood ’cause I just deflated your balls.”
When it was all said and done, Rodriguez was announced as the winner. Check out the full battle below.
While Gronk may not be great at battle rapping he is still among the NFL's elite pass catchers. So far this season the 28-year old man child has racked up 509 yards on 34 catches, including five touchdowns. But if he's looking to take out his frustration after being destroyed by Gina Rodriguez on "Drop The Mic," he'll have to wait until next weekend.
The Patriots, 6-2, have a bye in Week 9 and won't return to the field until their Week 10 matchup against the Broncos in Denver next Sunday night.
