Tasha is back for more.

Tasha The Amazon is back with the music video for the title track of her Die Every Day project, released last year. In the clip you can catch Tasha as the sole commander of the screen, as the Toronto native’s vocals drape a portentous and bass-laden backdrop.

The style of this particular cut succeeds at capturing the essence of Tasha’s catalog—a gritty sound that often draw comparisons to the likes of Pusha T. Nonetheless, the ever-evolving rapper’s influences finds itself rooted in various sources.

“I listened to a lot of, like, OutKast, and Fugees, DMX and a lot of New York hip-hop stuff,” she said in an interview earlier in the year. “ But I also listened to a lot of punk, and a lot of like...I don't know. Anything that had a lot of energy, so kind of all over the board. I wasn't really bound to genres much.”
