Wayne was quick to issue his own statement.

Lil Wayne remains one of the biggest artists in the entire world. In just a few weeks from now, he will be dropping Welcome 2 ColleGrove with 2 Chainz. Moreover, he has Tha Carter VI coming out soon, as well. At this point, Wayne fans are being well-fed, and they cannot wait to see what is on the horizon. Furthermore, he is bringing back Young Money Radio, which will help him get more music out there. Needless to say, the artist is back in a huge way.

With Wayne's celebrity continuing to persevere, the Wax Museum felt like it would be a good idea to commemorate him with one of their infamous statues. However, their statue of him turned out to be one massive disaster. As we reported yesterday, the statue was dragged all throughout social media. Fans could not believe how bad it looked. As it turns out, Wayne felt the exact same way. In a tweet, Wayne displayed his true feelings about his supposed "likeness."

Lil Wayne Speaks His Mind

"Sorry wax museum but dat shit ain’t me!" Wayne said. "You tried tho and I appreciate the effort." Fans were quick to agree with Wayne, however, some couldn't help but post a picture of the figure in the comments. A similar situation recently happened with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. That said, The Rock is now set to help out and fix the statue. Perhaps Wayne will be tasked with doing the exact same thing. Only time will tell whether or not he is interested.

Overall, it is common for wax figures to not look like their subjects. However, that doesn't mean it's never not a bit funny when it happens. Let us know what you think of all of this, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will always make sure to keep you informed on all of your favorite artists.
