While this wasn't a direct shot at the media personality, it's hard to hear any hip-hop figure talk about scams these days and not think about him.

DJ Envy is at the center of a lot of controversy in the worlds of hip-hop and, more importantly in this case, real estate. Moreover, he faces accusations of fraud and scamming, which even resulted in charges against his alleged co-conspirators. There have been no shortage of reactions to this from the rap game, whether it's its artists or its commentators. One rapper to seemingly respond to the whole ordeal was Memphis Bleek, although it's not a direct call-out. Still, it's hard to hear the word "scam" from a hip-hop figure and not think about The Breakfast Club co-host right now.

Furthermore, the alleged dig comes from the New York rapper's latest Instagram post. On Friday (October 20), he posted a picture of him and his wife Ashley Coombs Cox next to real estate agent Rondra Bolden, with Ashley holding a huge ket that has "Sold!" inscribed on it. Apparently the couple just bought a house, and Memphis Bleek seemed to clown DJ Envy with his caption. "Another one sold!" he wrote. "Thanks to @thebolden_team Always Holding us down! @biznesswomanac What we buying next? An we Ain’t Scamming. #MAPInvestments."

Memphis Bleek Alludes To DJ Envy Fraud In New IG Post

For those unaware, DJ Envy and business partner Cesar Pina stand accused of running a Ponzi scheme in real estate, scamming investors and not following up. In fact, authorities arrested Pina on fraud charges, and it was rumored that Envy faced federal investigation in this ordeal. Not only that, but the two also face multiple lawsuits from other partners and have levied accusations against each other in terms of who is to blame, trying to clear their names individually. The one thing they seem to agree on is that Pena put the radio personality as a co-founder of his company without his knowledge.

Meanwhile, all this apparently has iHeartMedia scrambling to find a new co-host on The Breakfast Club. They recently posted a job listing for it online, so it seems that this will have deeper consequences than originally expected. Needless to say, it's not looking pretty. On that note, stay posted on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Memphis Bleek and DJ Envy.
